Coronavirus (COVID-19) Concerns & Precautions

This has been a challenging period for all of us. We are looking forward to returning to our regular routines and habits while understanding that they will happen in a “new normal.” While these changes occur, our commitment to patient safety remains ours priority.

In light of the COVID-19 virus, our infection control processes have been elevated to ensure the safety of both you and our team. We are closely monitoring infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We believe this is important to make sure our infection control procedures are current and provide a safe environment to provide quality periodontal and dental implant services.

Some of our implemented safeguards and enhanced protocols include:

-Appointments will be spaced to facilitate social distancing, limit the number of individuals present in our office at one time, and reduce/eliminate the need to wait in our reception area. . For certain post-operative/follow visits, Dr. Silverstein may perform a virtual visit rather than in-office visit.

-Ensuring alcohol-based hand sanitizer is available throughout our office. Team members will performed frequent hand-washing with hospital grade soap.

-Office-wide air filtration units have been implemented that have medical grade High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters.

Our Commitment to You

We value your trust in our care and want you to feel good about your treatment and the environment in which you receive your care. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our practice’s safeguards and measure to ensure you safety, please contact our office. While all team members are trained and will be adhering to these policies, Dr. Silverstein would gladly speak directly with any patient to assist their decision making process during this period.

We look forward to treating you - either again for returning patients or as a new patient in our practice.

Sincerely,

Dr. Matthew Silverstein and Team
